Henry McGilchrist
Eora-based multimedia journalist and content producer.
With more than three years of experience under his belt in one of Australia’s largest newsrooms, Henry now works on the front line of the rapidly-developing news vertical video space, leading the charge by producing and managing Australia’s second-largest news account on TikTok.
Often a one-person production line, Henry writes, shoots, edits and publishes content for Nine’s audiences across Australia and the globe - with more than 20 million unique pairs of eyes watching his content every month.
During university, he worked in key creative roles across a number of award-winning student films and volunteered as supervising editor for the University of Technology, Sydney’s student news platform, Central News, during its three-year run as the JERAA Publication of the Year.
Outside of work, you'll find him in the water, traveling, or at a gig, but he'll always have a camera in his hand.
