The Brief

The Brief is a series of mini documentaries produced for 9Now and YouTube by the 9News and 60 Minutes Australia teams.

The Brief takes existing, incremental news packages and voice overs from 9News, The Today Show, A Current Affair and 60 Minutes and reworks them to produce a “Brief” - 10-20 minute digital docos that explain topics and stories in depth.

As a founding producer on this series, Henry compiles and restructures archival stories to better suit a mid-form documentary structure, and works with reporters to write new links, giving old packages a new lease on life. Henry also looks after in-story motion graphics, vertical video excerpts and social media promotion of individual episodes.
